For a lot of people, the only reason they patronise a friend's shop is because they want a special deal or discount. As a result, many sellers find that friends make the worst customers.
If I patronise a friend's shop, I do so because I want him to earn. I will not take advantage of that friendship to squeeze my friend for the lowest price, but will accept whatever price he offers me, believing he will give me a fair deal.
As long as he treats me the same as he does other customers, I am satisfied. But if I should discover that he gives other customers a better deal than to me, I will not patronise his business again.
