Have you ever wondered by some people say they don't drink beer, and yet they have a beer belly? Apart from that belly, the rest of them is skinny. Why is that so?

Well, this book argues that it is not just beer, or sugar, that makes a person deposit fat in the belly. It is - and my goodness gracious me - that innocent staple called wheat. This book goes on to claim that it doesn't matter in what form you consume wheat, whether as white bread or high-grain bread. It even claims that the wheat we consume today is not the same as the wheat our forefathers a hundred years ago ate. Needless to say, it claims that our present variety is not as healthy.

Chapter after chapter of this New York Times No. 1 Bestseller tells us why we should not be consuming our daily bread. At times, I felt like telling it, "All right, I got the picture." It does make a lot of persuasive arguments, but I shall not make judgment. If you're conscious about your health, put aside your judgment and read this book, and then weigh whether what it says is worth listening to.
